Universe who call their own music "Melodic Power Metal" where formed in Wuppertal in 1985, by Frank di Santo and Holger George. They both played in AXE VICTIMS before. The other three band members are coming from the cities: Hagen, Düsseldorf and Essen and all of these boys played in various bands before, like UDO, Darxon, Riff, etc.
1990 the band toured in USA and got very good critics, even from probably the most critical audience in the rock scene, in Los Angeles/Hollywood.
At the end of the 1991 they worked on the production "Bad Child" which was recorded and mixed in three different studios in about six weeks. The studios were in Chekoslovakia, in Berlin and in Hannover. The ten tracks on the album show without any doubt the excellent mixture of Metal Rock and melodic elements.
Another significant point of UNIVERSE is their high professionality and determination.
